The heart wants what it wants, but what if it can't have it?

The heart wants what it wants but it’s another thing when the heart can’t have it. Forbidden love is something that will break any heart. It’s rather the same as unrequited love, but the only difference with unrequited love is that the feelings are one-sided. With forbidden love, the two individuals feel the same way but they both don’t have the power to do anything about it. There’s an invisible force keeping these two apart and it’s not fair. They’re like two flames, a perfect match, but eventually, matches burn out.

Why can’t two people that clearly have chemistry be together? To hell with the consequences! But sadly that’s not how the real world works. There are kinks and barriers. Everything will get in the way to get the people that are meant be together apart. “Age is anything but a number,” but the law says otherwise. (Disclaimer: I am in no way condoning underage dating!) When it comes to love, age should just be a state of mind. When you’re attracted to someone, you can’t control it. You can’t change your feelings if you wanted to. That’s what makes it harder to let go. You can’t forget the way they look at you or the way their eyes twinkle when they laugh. You can’t forget about the day you two first met. You can’t erase the events that slowly lead to your demise. These memories will forever be a part of you. There’s no escaping it. And that’s the worst part.

Forbidden love.

It’s one of the few factors that can keep two people apart but it creates a type of yearning and desire that attracts intense feelings among the two. They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder but it makes the rest of your body lonely. As your body aches for their touch, you know that there’s not a damn thing the two of you can do to fix it. The only thing you can do is hope that the circumstances will change in the future. Truly a tragedy it would be if two souls that connect on a spiritual level do not end up with each other.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
