There is so much hidden under the eyes of a victim of domestic violence, this is a poem to describe just the slightest bit of what hidden.

You used to make me laugh and cheer

However now I now you're something to fear

Ill wrap it up and say it's a scratch

But my heart isn't as easy to patch

Your words hurt more than your touch

Yet for me abuse was as such

Tears rolled and cries never stop

I tried to fight back but you end up on top

Make up is so you're not revealed

But true wounds can't be healed

Now I know you're a sad excuse for a man

I should have known before everything hit the fan

But now I'm stuck here

Lost in the darkness of fear

Because now all I can see

Is how you ended me.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
