The 3 Places I Am Most Definitely Going To After Quarantine

I already know the first few places I can't wait to go to again.

I can't wait for this quarantine to be over. But more importantly, I can't wait for the world to heal from this virus, and for people to be able to see their families again. This quarantine isn't easy for anyone, and I just hope it gets better sooner than later.

The things that tend to get me through my day are remembering how lucky I am to be here and also the places I can't wait to go to again.

1. My grandparents' house

I miss my Grandma and Grandpa so much. I text them every day, but I can't wait to be able to hug them again. They never fail to let me know they miss me, too.

I think this is something I'm most excited about. I can't wait to be able to see my whole family again.

2. The beach

I can't wait to go to the beach. I have grown up where the beach is only a ten-minute drive from me. I am so excited for my feet to touch sand again.

This might not be for a while, but I don't mind. Cold or warm, I will always think of the beach as my home.

3. A restaurant

I don't really have a favorite restaurant, but I can't wait to be able to go get food with my friends and actually sit down and have a conversation with them. It's the little things that matter a lot to me.

This list is short because the thing I can't wait for most is being able to hug and hang out with my family and friends. This time really makes you miss the little things and big things.

Regardless, we will all get through this, and it'll make us stronger.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
