Pho Fixes Everything

A bowl a pho keeps everything bad away.

Pho might just be the best thing my taste buds have ever endured. If you haven't had pho, you're missing out. It's a Vietnamese soup, but it's not just any soup; it's the soup to my heart.

And no, this is not like ramen. It makes ramen look like random noodles in a bowl of water….yeah I know that's basically what it is, but you get the point.

Pho helps with everything. Having a bad day? Pho. Want to have 2 meals, one here and one to go? Pho. Bad break up? Pho. Need some emotional support? PHO IT UP.

Best part, there are so many options for pho. If you're vegetarian, no worries, there's pho for you. If you don't like spice, no worries! There's pho for you! If you love different kinds of meats… THERE'S PHO FOR YOU.

Please, everyone, just go get a bowl of pho and be happy. Doesn't matter if it's 100 degrees out or -13, pho is still amazing. You won't regret it.

Not going to lie, I'm craving it just from typing this.

9 Things All Mexican Food Addicts Know All Too Well

Don't come between me and my Mexican food.

In the city I grew up in, there is a Mexican restaurant just about every five miles. They are the after school hangouts and first date go-to's for most of the kids here, especially the high school girls.

I know the servers at my favorite one know my order almost every time I go in there (at least once a week). However, a lot of people apparently get tired of eating Mexican food about twice a week... but I sure don't. If you are a Mexican food addict like me, I am sure you know at least a few of these yourself.

1. Cheese dip tastes like heaven and you have to have it.

That amazing creamy white cheese dip put on a perfectly salted chip is enough to make your day better. Forget the actual food---we'd be content living off of cheese dip and chips for the rest of our lives. Our restaurant trip is not complete without an order of it and if you are lucky enough to get your favorite waiter, maybe even get a large bowl for the night.

2. You never have to look at the menu.

We know when we decide to go what we are having and it is probably the exact same plate we order each time. I am sure the servers laugh after I order some days because there is only three things I rotate between. My burrito is always my go-to, unless I am feeling fancy.

3. Some of the servers know who you are when you walk in the door.

Either by first name or by order they know us. You are the ones that they tell to pick your own seat and already have your drink order placed by the time you sit down.

4. Your boyfriend/ girlfriend puts you on Mexican restaurant restriction on date night.

You drag them there so much, they get tired of eating there. So much so, they flat out say no when you ask to go there on date night. I mean, how does someone get tired of Mexican food to begin with though?

5. You can hum some of the songs that come on.

We may not know what they are saying in the song, but we know the song---trust us. We are in there so much we remember them. Don't ask any questions when we start humming.

6. You "have" a parking spot.

Do not park in my parking spot that is not actually my parking spot, but is my parking spot. Got it? Just do not do it. That starts my meal bad when you take my normal spot.

7. You used to hangout there all the time after school.

It was the hangout spot. Forget the nasty school lunch--- everyone goes to eat Mexican after school. It's the cool thing to do and it started your addiction.

8. You always want to introduce new people to your favorite restaurant.

Oh, you aced that exam? Let's go eat at this amazing Mexican restaurant I love! We always want to find people to go there to eat with so we always introduce new people to it.

9. People always pick on you about your addiction.

Yes, I love Mexican food. Go ahead and tag me in all the memes on Facebook about tacos. As long as I have my Mexican food, I am fine with that.

All in all, we LOVE our Mexican food and our go-to restaurants--- so here is your warning. Don't come between me and my Mexican food.

Drinking Coffee In College Could Inevitably Lead You To A More Successful Future

Ever wondered why successful people drink coffee? And that too in ridiculous amounts? Well here is why!

Ever see those TV shows where the leads constantly make an espresso? Or those movies where the main characters are making coffee while having a serious discussion? Most of the times these people are shown to be hard workers and rich businessmen/women.

Well, having coffee as a college student has a similar effect. While many might ask what the correlation between coffee and success is, as a college student, I can say that there most certainly is a correlation, and that too a positive one.

We college students pull all-nighters just to make an A on the exam the following day. But we do something in that process that enables us to even pull off the all-nighter, which is coffee. Coffee is an essential part of a college student's diet. One cup of coffee contains approximately 95 mg of caffeine. Now many may say, "Duh, its coffee." But what they may not know is the effects of caffeine on an individual. Caffeine being a stimulant drug helps improve mental processing and blocks the neurotransmitter, adenosine's pathway. It helps elevate alertness and can help with elevating your mood. As you fall asleep after seeing that 40-page history chapter you have to read, caffeine helps prevent that from happening and allows you to have a successful all-nighter.

Coffee has not posed to be a harmful substance in its origins in the 15th century. It is used all across the world by people of all ages, races, and cultures. But the benefits of coffee that students get is nonetheless better than anything else. Because in the end, by having coffee, and pulling an all-nighter, you will get an A which will lead to a high GPA and make you a more promising candidate for a job. That job might be the difference between the broke college student syndrome and a wealthy person. In 10 years, while you may not think back about the cup of coffee that kept you having during finals week, you will still be sipping on coffee, sitting in the lawn of that million dollar mansion and not have a clue about how amazing and how much one cup of coffee added to your life. Coffee makes destinies.
