I know that the photograph for this article isn't us but you would love it if it was. Hopefully one day, you can talk me into climbing a mountain just to get this photograph. My outfit might just be a little more rugged, and I know that my hair will be all over the place. Everybody will be more than surprised if you turn me into a mountain and outdoorsy person, you might even get a pat on the back.

When we first got in touch, I really had no idea what was going to come out of it. There was a possibility you would think I was the weirdest person ever or you would find me somewhat interesting and want to talk. It was a complete hit or miss situation but I was willing to take the risk. I can say that I am happy I took that risk.

You drove more than twenty minutes so you could try out an ice cream flavor that I wouldn't shut up about. I don't know anybody else who would be willing to do that. I was over the top when you also liked the ice cream flavor and ended up ordering it, just like me. You took me on a "hike" and offered to carry me on your back if I felt like I was going to collapse. I look back and laugh about it now, even though at the moment, I did feel like my life was coming to an end. That was defiantly a lesson for the both of us not to go on a far walk in the middle of the day (or maybe just leave me at home next time.)

I read a post that said, "Sometimes, it only takes one person to change your life. One to be there for you, to push you, to believe in you. It only takes one." If I read this post a few weeks or months ago, I would have never believed it. You have proved that this statement is true, it only takes one person to change your life.

You support me in everything, including my cheesy food articles and interesting crockpot recipes. I promise that next time I will buy all the right ingredients and the recipe will be a little more exciting. You have made me slowly come out of my comfort zone, and I think I have begun to do the same for you. I did talk you into putting a face mask on the other day, even though you wouldn't admit that you enjoyed it. Your awfully lucky that I didn't take a photo because I could have added it to this article !

Even though you say I could never be a food critic because of my limited appetite, thank you for letting me take you to all kinds of restaurants. Thank you for fixing broken things around my apartment, always being down to get dessert, and letting me become best friends with your dog. Thank you for changing my outlook on life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
