I’ve heard enough roommate horror stories to realize how lucky I am to have not only one roommate that I like but two. In fact, I can’t even imagine the beginning of my freshman year without them. We took a big leap of faith when we all went random for our roommate search and took an even bigger leap when we were assigned a converted triple but we landed our feet and hit the ground running. Although we’ve only been living in our confined quarters for a couple of months, we’ve been proving that two is company and three’s a crowd is wrong since the minute we moved in. Three is definitely a party.
1. Dance Parties are 10x More Exciting
No matter what time it is, with two roommates it’s always time for an impromptu dance party. The excitement level is automatically boosted with three people compared to two and even more opportunity for song suggestions that soon become the blaring anthem of your room.
2. Your Room Is a Jungle Gym
There might be less space with more people living in your room, but that creates an indefinite adventure. You’re always looking to find a way to create more space, make the room seem bigger, and sometimes even try to see how far you can travel across the room without touching the ground.3. There’s Always Someone To Talk To
The room is hardly ever empty meaning usually one of your roommates will be there for you to vent to. There’s an even bigger audience for all your greatest stories and you get to hear about even more drama.
4. You're a Little Squad
Anytime you’re all hanging out outside the room you are the definition of squad goals.5. There's Better Inside Jokes
You always gang up on each other, in a loving way of course. Inside jokes are more fun the more people involved. Anyone overhearing most of your conversations would think you’re crazy. Some might think you’re crazy for wanting to share your already tiny space with an extra human, but at the end of the night, you’re crazy thankful for your endless sleepover.
