To The People Losing Weight

Dear motivators,

I congratulate you on your first step on having a vision to lose weight! If you want to welcome a change into your lifestyle, the first step is to picture it! Now the hard part like in any goal you set, is the effort and commitment. EFFORT AND COMMITMENT GO HAND IN HAND WITH ONE ANOTHER! This is the part where everyone tends to struggle for the most.

There are going to be days where you don't like going to the gym because of these following reasons:

1.) It's too cold/rainy outside

2.) I have a lot of work to do (when you don't)

3.) I'm lazy

4.) My gym partner isn't going.. so I'm not going

5.) One day shouldn't hurt (slowly adds up to a lot of days not going)

6.) I don't want to embarrass myself by not knowing what to do

** The list could go on forever, but here are some of the common reasons**

Now everyone does have different circumstances and your body does deserve a break! My main point is that if you have time to spare, JUST TRY TO GO TO THE GYM WHEN YOU CAN! IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BABY STEPS!

Now no one said losing weight was ever going to be easy, because it's all in the mind set. There are days where you see your group of friends eating take out or your cravings start to dominate you and you might fall for it. IT'S OKAY TEMPTATIONS ARE NORMAL TO HAVE, BUT JUST REMEMBER ALL THE TIME AND SACRFICE YOU DID TO WAKE UP TO GO TO THE GYM!

These moments you may not realize now, are special because not only are you working on yourself physically but mentally as well.YOU ARE BEGINNING TO LEARN THE DEFINITION OF HARD WORK AND DEDICATION. IF YOU TAKE A MOMENT TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR, THE ONLY PERSON FROM STOPPING YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL IS YOURSELF!! You are your own competition. It's your life where you make your own decisions, do something that makes you happy and if losing weight is one of them, THEN DO IT!

Actions are stronger than words and although you may might feel intimidated at the gym because you see people of your age are toned and fit. RATHER THAN FEEL DISCOURAGED ABOUT YOURSELF, USE THAT AS A MOTIVATION TO FIND THAT FIRE INSIDE OF YOU!

Ladies, just envision yourself wearing that red little dress late at night with a couple of your friends. Not only are you rocking a killer outfit, but ALSO THE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF!

Same for gentlemen, imagine yourself during a hot summer's day at the beach with your shirt off. Not having to worry about anything and your just enjoying life in the outdoors catching girl's attention!

Envision your happiness with positive motivation and soon all the rest will follow. THERE MAY BE SETBACKS, BUT NOTHING HURTS TRYING! HOPEFULLY AFTER READING THIS ARTICLE, START YOUR DAY BY STAYING ACTIVE!

Best wishes and hope this helps! :)

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
