To the person who thought it was okay to tweet about planning a mass shooting at one of Penn State's football games, I just want to know, what was the point? What was the point of threatening to "commit the biggest mass shooting in the history of the world?"

You were so bold to make a public tweet about it, tagging the State College Police Department and mentioning four related PSU football accounts. But, I don't know whether you were trying to joke about it or bring 15 minutes of fame. Truth be told, I never heard anyone plot their "historical" moment on social media, where everyone can see it.

But, carry on.

Either way, your approach was disgusting.

When I read the articles, got warnings from my friends about this random tweet, it made me reconsider whether my dream college would be safe. Joke or not, you have put a lot of fear in football lovers. You put a lot of fear in me, knowing that anything could happen at any moment.

You're threatening innocent students' lives over a football game. Why?

I hear you're a Pittsburgh fan. But, considering I don't even like football, it's safe for me to ask: when has it ever been that serious? Why is it so important for you to attack a college over college football?

If we were face-to-face and you answered "it was just a joke," I wouldn't laugh. There's nothing funny about threatening students' safety in college. Penn State stresses safety and ensuring every student is surrounded by a hate-free, diverse, respectful environment. You'd be disrupting this agenda.

Do not ruin the experience for first-year students who have never attended a football game. Leave us alone. Stay bitter about football.

Meanwhile, football season is still around the corner. We're ready.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
