Past Life Regression - A Thorough Explanation

The concept behind reincarnation is that our bodies and our minds are separate entities. Once you appreciate the unique existence of the mind, you can grasp the possibility of having lived multiple lives. Most people believe that when you pass away, your body returns to the earth and your mind ceases to be.

In Buddhist teachings, our bodies are likened to a guesthouse. Our minds are only there temporarily as a guest within it. When it is time to leave the body, it is left behind. However, the mind is then free to take up residence in another form sometimes human, sometimes not. And these past lives leave memories locked up within our subconscious. All we need to know is how to tap into them.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression is a form of therapy that gives you a way to recall occurrences relating to your past lives. During a therapy session, you are put into a deep state of relaxation through hypnosis. While in this state, you are able to access memories of your past lives. Doing so can allow you to recall past events, experiences, and personalities so that they can be used to heal your present self.

Many who are experiencing emotional obstructions, physical issues, or are looking for guidance can look to their past selves to reconnect, learn, and grow from them. Have you ever felt a deep connection with something? Maybe there is a place that you are drawn to but do not know why. Julian Cannon from QHHTOfficial.com says that regression therapy can help people understand why they may feel as if they don't fit in. Past life regression can give you insight into your existence by giving you the opportunity to examine and explore unresolved emotions that may have left remnants that carried through to this life.

Once you understand those feelings you can become empowered by them so that you are able to use the information to make needed changes to improve your current life and find happiness.

The Session

A typical past life regression session entails you being helped into a deep, relaxing state by the use of hypnosis. At this point, you are still aware and conscious so you are able to communicate with your guide. Your guide will ask you to reveal any images you are seeing or feelings or sensations that come to you. From this subconscious information, a cohesive story of a past life can be recalled. Using this narrative, you can use it to correlate things in your life that the lessons taken from the regression can be applied to.

Hypnosis

A magician brings a volunteer onto the stage with him. After a few magic words and a swinging pocket watch, that volunteer is unknowingly clucking like a chicken in front of a hysterical crowd. When you hear the word "hypnosis," images similar to this may pop into your head thanks to television shows and vaudeville acts. Thus, hypnosis is a very misunderstood method of helping you achieve a deep state of being.

Hypnosis does not force you into a mind frame where you are out of control of your faculties. Instead, it is more of a collaboration between the hypnotist and the participant. Together they make their way through regression with the participant in a relaxed focus answering questions or reacting to suggestions made by the guide. Hypnotherapy has become more accepted and is actually a very legitimate method used by psychologists for a multitude of symptoms and conditions. It is a great way to align yourself mentally, physical, and spiritually.

There are times in our lives where we may feel out of place or held back by some feeling we cannot explain. Other times we experience an insatiable draw to people or places but we may have never been to those places or even met those people. These strange and unexplainable occurrences can be small remnants of our past lives reaching into our existence. If we tap into them, they can give us clarity and even help us through the issues we are having. Past life regression gives us a way to do just that.

With the aid of a guide, we can get back in touch with our past selves and find negative patterns that have followed us through those lives. We are then able to take what we have learned about ourselves and break any negative cycles so that we can live happily in this life and in future ones when it is time for our minds to move on to the next experience.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
