All things paranormal seem to put people on an edge. It is funny to see how one topic can carry many taboo elements and yet, always peak anyone's interest. For something that society shouldn't discuss very much, paranormal events and investigations keep happening and show no signs of stopping soon.

Pictured above is the famously acclaimed Demonologist, Dr.Lorraine Warren, and with her, the even more infamous Raggedy Ann doll, Annabelle. Stories of this doll were thought to be myth, legend, and even make believe. However, standing with tangible evidence is proof enough for the world to make a movie out of the events that this doll has induced. While the film itself is a fantastic thriller, the element that continuously urges fear, is the little reminder that it is truly based upon real life events. Not many care to think about or curiously wonder what clairvoyants, mediums, sensitives, and others alike go through on a day to day basis.

Theresa Caputo, also know as the TLC favorite "Long Island Medium" is one medium who does not mind the world peering into her everyday life. To bring knowledge and crush previous misconceptions, her life is filmed and aired on national television. Private and group "readings" are shown to let believers in on the action and enlighten skeptics one day at a time.

For those of us lucky enough,and old enough to remember the Montel Williams Television show, we recognize this face, and set of fingernails, immediately. Sylvia Browne frequently appeared as a guest and gave reading to audience members who were grieving over a recent loss, or grateful for an unexpected message from long time friends.

These women all share a great and powerful gift that can allow others much love and happiness. Some may still believe that this is all a hoax, but I for one know for sure that there is life after death, and the ability to communicate. My personal experiences encourage me to learn more about the paranormal and accept the fact that the Transformers were on to something good when they said there is "more than meets the eye".

My mother and I have always been extremely close but the older I get,the more I realize that our relationship is on a deeper level. Most mother and daughter pairs can say they are a dynamic duo, and while most have intuition and feel when the other is "off their norm", I thought it was movie fluff until it happened to us. Many "happenings" have occurred in my life and while science may say there is a logical solution forthcoming, I know that there can never be solid, black and white answers to the things I've seen, predicted, heard, and feared. At one point in time, I was so scared of the gift I have, I suppressed it until it almost went away for good. What was supposed to be a normal ride to school changed into the wake up call I needed to accept and grow. If you ever want to hear mind blowing stories, I'm Your girl. Don't write us off just yet, mediums, sensitives, and others like us need love too.
