At this point in time we are living through a pandemic known as COVID-19 (aka Corona Virus), and although there is a lot of tension and panic there needs to be some sort of etiquette or guidelines in place to make this entire situation stable and less chaotic than it already is.

DO: STAY IN QUARANTINE

Currently most of the citizens around the world are under lockdown, and for good reasons. COVID-19 has now become airborne, therefor it has become a lot easier for many people to contract this. It is safe not only for yourself but for others to stay in quarantine, this is to keep from possibly spreading it to those who have not so great immune systems, elderly, and babies who are still developing their immune systems.

DON'T: FIGHT OVER SUPPLIES

Unfortunately there are many people who have taken it upon themselves to go beyond the necessary requirements of preparing themselves in this unfortunate time. And when that happens it brings on chaotic fights in the middle of the stores, many of you think that this might be an exaggeration, however, it has become more of a common occurrence. Yes, it is a stressful time. Yes, it is a time where we are unsure of when things will get better. But it doesn't mean that we need to get violent as a species and attack each other over a roll of toilet paper.

DON'T: BE SELFISH

There are several videos of people with cartloads of toilet paper, and other grocery store items and not leaving anything for someone who might need them just as much. Currently down in Florida there are a lot of young adults who are not taking the situation seriously, and are instead partying it up without a care in the world. Look at these examples of being selfish... there is a fine line of being prepared and just being plain inconsiderate to the rest of the world. Remember that there are people out there who need toilet paper, food, and other vital things in order to make it through just like you do. And to all of those who are not taking the situation seriously, think about the prospect of accidently passing COVID-19.

DO: BRANCH OUT

Being stuck in quarantine for an undetermined amount of time can be lonesome and end up being relatively boring, however, there are plenty of things you can do to pass the time. Playing games on the WII, Nintendo, PlayStation or whatever console you may have can help pass the time. There are several workout videos that you can look into if you are trying to stay in shape during the duration. There are many things that you can find to do, don't think that there's nothing to do.

DO: STAY UPDATED & EDUCATED

Staying updated and educated about how the progress is going. Check the CDC, as well as your state and local county to make sure that you are staying updated about the rules, and how the world is progressing.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
