You Need A Pair Of BANGS Shoes In Your Life

About five years ago, we were blessed with BANGS shoes being brought to this earth. BANGS Founder, Hannah Davis created BANGS shoes after teaching English in China. While in China she noticed the boots that workers and farmers wore and was inspired by them to create a simple work boot/shoe with a classic feel that would support you in your everyday adventures. Oh, and let me tell you, they sure do!

According to the BANGS website, "The name BANGS comes from the Chinese character for "help", but over time BANGS Shoes has become so much more than footwear for a cause" which is so incredible!

BANGS shoescome in two different styles: high tops and low tops. However, both styles offer multiple colors and a few include designs. One design is an outline of the United States where you can color in the states in which you visit.

Another cool thing about BANGS is that they invest in entrepreneurs around the world through a brand ambassador program. According to the BANGS website, BANGS has invested in 800 entrepreneurs in 64 countries!

BANGS' slogan is, "Your Adventure Helps Others Find Theirs." I absolutely love this slogan because I believe it is what helped create such a strong community for BANGS. Everybody has their own "adventure" and nothing is cooler than finding people who can relate to your own adventure and journey and BANGS has helped me do that. It brings together a great community of adventurers and I am so glad to be a part of it.

A few months ago I joined the BANGS Fall Ambassador Program which has allowed me to connect with other adventurers all over the world, make new friends, interact with each other on social media during out blitz days, and of course, rep BANGS swag! I am so lucky to have been able to be a part of this great program.

If you want to become a part of the BANGS community (of course you do!) you can do so by purchasing a pair of shoes. Otherwise, you can get even more involved and become a BANGS Buddy!

Being a BANGS Buddy is super simple and you get to interact with other adventurers in the community. The only requirement is that you post on the Blitz days that are listed. A Blitz day is where all Ambassadors and Buddies post pictures on their personal Instagram accounts. Usually, each Blitz day has an adventure theme that you find out beforehand. For example, this fall we have had the themes of "FALLing into fall," and "Halloween." Another cool part is that you are able to win prizes on Blitz days through different contests and if you are a BANGS Buddy you receive a 25% discount on all BANGS swag.

If you are interested in becoming a BANGS Buddy sign up here.

If you are looking to purchase a comfy, cute, and amazing new pair of shoes I highly recommend trying out a pair of BANGS. When you purchase and wear a pair of BANGS shoes you are using your adventure to help others and I don't know what could be cooler than that!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
