The Ultimate Disney COVID Packing List Everyone Should Read To Have The Most Magical Experience

COVID calls for some necessities to be brought along with you on your trip!

I am going to Disney for the first time since the beginning of March. There will be a lot of things that will be different about this trip compared to the last one. For example, my boyfriend will be meeting us there and we are going to be staying at a nice resort for the weekend!

It will be so relaxing and full of so many memories. However, that is not the only thing that has changed. My packing list is going to be very different for this trip given that COVID has made an entirely new normal.

1. Hand Sanitizer

@disneypotter

Even though precautions will be taken inside the park, I am going to be sure I bring some hand sanitizer of my own in my bag. That way, after every ride I can make sure I am properly sanitizing my hands and spreading the least amount of germs.

Having your own sanitizer on you will make it a lot easier than seeking hand sanitizer around the park. Most stations are empty halfway through the day anyway. You want to make sure you are staying as germ free as possible!

2. MASKS, MASKS, MASKS!

@disneyforfoodies

This is probably assumed given masks are required in nearly every public place (including Disney). However, I am not bringing just one mask, I am bringing multiple.

You never know when you could either lose one, sweat too much in the one you are wearing, or even just want to change up the mask to match your outfit better!!

3. Neck Fans

Amazon

I know what you are thinking. Because I was thinking the same thing. I could not believe when my sister got these for going to Disney but once I thought about it, I have never heard a better idea.

It is so hot walking around Disney during this time of year and you feel the heat!! Having the neck fans may be laughable at first, but once you have it on in one hundred degree weather, you will be thanking yourself for bringing it.

4. Straw Booze Glasses

@strengthandsunflowers

Best. Idea. Ever. This is probably the most COVID thing to ever be invented. These are straws that look like glasses and can go underneath your mask.

This allows you to drink around the world in Epcot while keeping your mask on THE WHOLE TIME. Another laughable thing to put on, but the best to have once you are using it!

5. Running Shoes

@disneywithanaa

I know we all want to snap with our Disney outfits, post pictures everywhere! But, I do highly suggest being smart with the shoes you wear.

Running shoes are your best bet at not having your feet on fire by the end of the day. Walking around all day and waiting in lines requires you to be on your feet a lot more than you typically are during the day.

You will want to have the extra comfort on your feet!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
