Packing: something we all avoid until the last minute. Whether we're packing for vacation, packing for college, or packing for an overnight stay, it's a dreaded task. What shoes do I take? What's the weather going to be like? Do I need hats? There are a million questions to ask yourself when choosing what to pack. I am about to embark on a twelve day journey through France and Spain. Two countries. 12 days. One suitcase and basically two weeks off of work.

I AM STRESSING.

I decided I would try to find the best Big Bang Theory gifs to demonstrate the stress, laughter, and overall excitement I have been experiencing this week. I hope others can relate, no matter what the vacation destination is.

1. Holy crap you get two weeks off for vacation!

The initial excitement of a vacation and time off of work is the best!

2. Then you realize how much work you need to get done, and how many errands you have to run

You leave in a week and it starts to hit you. There are things to get done at work, the house needs to be cleaned, and everyday you think of one more thing you need to buy and struggle to find the time.

3. You have one last gathering to finalize details with your group

We have a large group heading to Europe, so we decided to have one last meeting to go over flight times, tour plans, and all the things in between.

4. Now you must pack

It is the most dreaded part of vacationing. Choosing what clothes to take, what shoes you'll want, and eventually putting them in the suitcase. However, while putting your whole closet into one bag, you cant forget that there's a 50 pound weight limit!

5. While you're packing and stressing about last minute things, people keep asking you if you're excited

The people that know about your trip keep asking if you're ready and if you're excited. Meanwhile, you're stressing about finishing packing, leaving the dog, and ultimately leaving town.

6. Three days later.....still having a stare down with the suitcase

It's hard enough to pack for a weekend or a week at the beach, but twelve days in two different countries is a different story.

7. It's crunch time! One day and counting

You're down to the wire for your trip. It's time to double and triple check your packing list, make sure you have your passport and money, and finalize details for who's taking care of the pets. It's almost time to leave!

8. The day has come!

It's time to head for the airport and get started vacationing!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
