So, as we all know, I ponder things, as we all do. My latest pondering lies in the idea that we save our lives every day. We all go through our own troubles and turmoils at a time, and we find ways like music or exercise to make ourselves feel better. The thing we don't realize is that we feel better on our own because we are the ones finding what makes us feel better.
The power of feeling better is within us, and we use this power to find what we're drawn to, and this helps us to figure out what we identify with and how we determine what we use to make us feel better.
Although I'd like to say the same thing works for everyone, it doesn't, because we aren't all wired the same way. There are many paths to feeling better, and it all depends on the person. Everyone finds what works for them.
As you would assume, music is my go-to, but I also have a preference for venting through writing like this, and even sometimes just sitting alone in a room and just discussing what's on my mind. It seems that through this, that it really allows me to understand myself and how I am.
Sometimes, I vent to a mirror to observe my emotions as I'm going over things, other times if I'm just sitting alone, I quietly do this, rather than just sitting doing nothing, as a way of always keeping my brain on.
I consider myself to be one that over-analyzes things at times, but through this, I don't make sudden decisions, I think carefully about things and what the consequences could be.
This allows me to really consider how I could easily react in a situation, and how I can take a minute and think of all the possible outcomes. Thanks to this quality, I'm dangerously sensible while also considering every outcome, which is a rare duo, since we can make a momentary judgment and it can affect us.
Sometimes when an extra second is taken, a situation can turn out in an entirely different way, whereas if you don't take the extra second things can turn out in an entirely different way.
My whole point here, is that the power of feeling better is within us, and everyone has their path to feeling better. Always think of the consequences before acting upon things, because in this life, anything is possible, and you never know what can happen.
