Our Best Choice For The 2016 Election

This candidate I'm voting for is impeccable.

Constantly dressed to the nines, classy, but most importantly pure. They have never said any racist, sexist, or homophobic statements. Everything they say people support. Around them is an aura of confidence; their smile is one of those "rare ones with a quality of reassurance in it" when you look at it. People tune into the debates just to look at them. There's something special and smooth about the way they move and talk.

They have been on community service trips to Uganda and numerous rural places in Asia, building schools and educating children. They donate yearly to Wildlife Conservation Society and Children's Health Fund, which their significant other is on the board for.

The media have tried to find dirt on their background but it was impossible. Well-educated, graduated with a law degree from Harvard Law, and did not do anything horrific or embarrassing during college.

They also have numerous experiences in public service, having served as mayor for their hometown and senator for their state. Known to be extremely uncontroversial, but very likable.

Everybody adores them; babies, families, grandparents. Their charisma is palpable; think Reagan and then double it. They have the power to unite generations and bridge gaps between conflicting beliefs. They are the one thing both republicans and Democrats can support. Forget about awkward family dinners with contrasting political views and imagine a table of harmonious, intellectual conversation about the wonders this candidate will do for the United States.

No history of wavering on political issues; his morals steadfastly rooted since birth. They are relatable to the majority of the US; they are a common and average person. Their solutions to America's problems are ingenious, creative, and agreeable. Current politicians agree with their ideas and believe these ideas will genuinely work.

Question is, who am I describing? Also, what gender did you picture this caniddate as?

Nobody because the perfect human does not exist. People waver on political opinions, people have wavered on political beliefs before, and the media is great at pointing flaws out. Focus on the candidate's beliefs and what plans they have for the country. While its great that voters are analyzing and placing emphasis on the type of person that a candidate is, it is more important to focus on the stances and plans for fixing our country's issues.

Yes, our candidate selection for this election is not the best but nobody is perfect.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
