If You're A College Girl Seeking To Organize Her Life On A Budget, Go To Target

I mean, who wouldn't go to Target for everything anyways?

Sometimes getting organized can seem a little daunting. You look at Pinterest Boards for bullet journals and think that you could never be like them.

You watch video after video telling you just how to do everything and it just stresses you out more and more. Well, I am here to tell you that there is no "right way" to getting everything done. I have struggled for YEARS to try and get my life together and I have literally failed, Every. Single. Time.

This year, I made a promise to myself that I would take everything day by day and do my best to organize my life. At first, I didn't know how I was going to do it, everything I read made it all look so hard and so EXPENSIVE! So, I decided to do it all how I wanted it done. I wasn't going to let all of these different people tell me how to do things and how to be organized because every time before, I failed, miserably.

So, I did what any sane woman who needs things does, I went to Target. I knew I needed a couple of things and what I walked out of there with was amazing! They literally have everything you could ever need to become organized, and it is all a great price! Here are the things that I made sure to walk out with to take my strides to becoming an organized woman.

1. Wall Calendar

This literally came from the "dollar section" (cost me $3). It's small enough to fit on a normal desk yet big enough to hang on your wall and be able to see it from across the room. You can put anything and everything on this so when you wake up in the morning you know exactly what you have going on for the day.

2. Colored Pens

18 different colors for about $5. I made sure that they were ones I knew I would be able to find pretty much anywhere I went because who wants to run out of ink and not be able to find the same pens that I had been using?

3. Planner

They have so many to choose from! Literally 20+. They come in all different sizes and offer different things in each one. I chose the Day Designer because in the front you get a place to set your goals and ENCOURAGED to not fill it up in the beginning so as you grow throughout the year you can add more in. Then you get a quick overview of the month just like in any other planner. Then the amazing part is the ACTUAL day designer part! You get one day per page and you get to schedule in everything, set your to-do list, identify your top three, a daily quote, and a place where you write in something that you are grateful for. Also, the best bonus of them all, IT COMES WITH STICKERS!!!

With all of my stuff, I have made sure to color coordinate everything that I can so my planner and wall calendar show the same thing. Also, tip for the newbies like me, when you write something in your planner, make sure to put it in your phone along with on your other calendars. The more that you make it a habit, the easier it will be to stay organized. So, ladies, here is to a year of getting organized and getting to the level of #GIRLBOSS .

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
