Dear Future Daughter,
I know that we will not meet for years to come, but I want you to know that I have always thought about the way that I will raise you and the woman I wish that you will become. You will have guys rallying up to date you, guys who call you beautiful, and guys who will tell you that you mean the world to them. But, beware. Some of these men are only playing games to win over your heart. I want you to know that you are the most beautiful girl without anyone making you feel special.
We all look at ourselves in the mirror one day or another, and we do not like what we see. We even have the evil voice in our heads, telling us that we're ugly, but please promise me to never listen to what your enemies have to say, because they are only jealous of the amazing girl that you are.
You will have guys chasing you, but don't pay any attention to them. They will think you are challenging, and promise me that you will challenge them to their own game. But remember, never let them take away your heart. Your heart is yours, and you can share it with them, but never give them the satisfaction that you need them to go on with your day. I don't want you to be afraid of guys. I want you to challenge them with your self-confidence and courage. This will show them that you are no girl that they can take advantage of. I want you to know the difference between a man who flatters you and a man who compliments you.
If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Then you would finally realize how special you truly are to me. Remember that love isn't when you can name a million things you love about the person, it is when you cannot even find the words to describe how you feel about them.
Remember when you fail your finals, you're single again, or you lose your job, just live. Keep living your life to the fullest until you cannot possible go on another day. Travel, explore, and never let your happiness be taken away from things that do and never did matter. Be the strong girl that I know you will be.
Love,
Your Future Mother
