I know what all of my friends who are reading this are thinking as they click on this link and open up my article. Why are you writing an article like this? You don't know how it feels. You've been in a relationship forever. But here's the thing. I know what you deserve. I know what you'll find.

You deserve the world and more. You deserve a guy who looks at you the way you've always wanted to be looked at. You deserve someone who knows your favorite color and favorite TV show. You deserve a guy who notices the crinkle in your nose when you laugh. You deserve a guy who will love you when you first wake up in the morning looking like a hot mess and a guy who will love you after you spend an hour getting ready to go out. You deserve a guy who would do anything for you and in time he will come.

Please promise me you won't settle. Don't settle for a guy who could care less. Don't settle for a mediocre relationship. Don't waste your time with someone who makes you cry more than they make you smile. Don't stay with someone who doesn't deserve you just because you don't think you can do better. Because I promise you: you can do better. I know there's someone perfect out there for each and every one of us. I know sometimes you might feel hopeless and that you'll never find the one, but I promise, one day you will.

You deserve a guy who makes you the happiest girl in the world, but the truth is you, a man shouldn't be your only form of happiness. Enjoy the nights spent with your best friends laughing until you can't breathe. The days you're happy with yourself for reaching a tough goal. The moments you spend surrounded by loved ones smiling from ear to ear. Happiness is within yourself and you don't need a guy to find that.

Don't rush anything. Don't force anything. Enjoy each and every day and surround yourself with people who make you the happiest. Someday, when you're least expecting it Mr. Right is going to walk right into your life. It could be today. It could be tomorrow. It could be next year. No matter how long it takes, it will happen. And In that moment, you'll finally realize why nothing else has worked out this far, and it will be amazing.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
