Dear Creepy Clowns,
You've taken many college campuses and towns by storm over the past month. You've been in the news for scaring people, playing purge music and threatening violence. This clown movement has reached all ends of the country and has everyone on their toes in fear that they'll come in contact with one of you. My question for you is simply this: why? What satisfaction do you get from freaking people out? These clown sightings have gotten in the news and started police investigations. At this point, we know that the majority of you are harmless, but your motives are unclear. I think I speak for everyone when I say that you should stop with this whole clown thing.
Most likely, you are just trying to prank everyone. If this is the case, you have no sense of humor because this is not a funny prank for anyone involved. If you get caught, you will get into trouble. I just want you to take a step back and think before trying to pull a prank like this. For you, it may seem harmless, but you could seriously scare a lot of people. With all of the current violence going on in our world, it is second nature for people to be frightened and suspicious in a situation like this. Clowns are a common phobia with all of the movies and books about sinister clowns, so seeing a creepy clown in real life could seriously traumatize somebody.
Dressing up as a clown to scare people is not only frightening for your victims, it is also unsafe for you. Because so many people are scared of clowns, you are highly likely to be attacked by a victim. People have been going clown hunting to find you and hurt you. If you're smart, you'll stop doing this for your own sake.
You have free will to do what you want, but ending this clown drama is the best choice for the safety of yourself and others. If you all are just crazy pranksters, this prank is not funny. If you really do have malicious intentions, please rethink your actions.
