Dear Ohana,

God definitely knew what he was doing when he put all of us together. We didn't get a say in who was a part of our family, but by no means would I want it any other way. We may all talk really loud and drive each other crazy, but when it comes down to it, I don't know what I would do without you guys. In the past couple of years, we have really discovered how important family is and how there is nothing that compares to our love for one another.

I think the biggest lesson we have learned is to not take each other for granted. You never know when something will happen that's out of your control, but it's so important to have your Ohana alongside you when times get rough. We have learned how to deal with the ups and downs of life and how to handle each other's craziness. Thank you for teaching me the importance of growing together as a family and growing in a relationship with God. I truly cherish the time that we spend together and I'm so grateful for the bond that we have.

We've laughed together, cried together, watched lots of football and eaten way too much food and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything in the world. Each of us are different and we all have something special to bring to the table. We are all a different piece to the puzzle and without one of us, it wouldn't be the same.

Although we pick on each other all the time and we aren't afraid to point out each other's flaws, we will never hesitate to come to each other's aid. No matter how much we disagree, we would stand up to anyone who tried to come between us. I'm so thankful for the love that we have for one another, and I know that I definitely don't do enough to show my appreciation.

Thank you for Sundays. For squeezing seven or eight people into a five-person aisle at church just because we don't want to be apart. For cooking several different options for lunch so that everyone has something they like. For jumping up and down and yelling when the Panthers score or arguing about a call that none of us agree on. For including my dog as a part of the family. For spending the entire day together, even if we drive each other crazy because it's just more fun that way. For providing me with so many memories that I will never ever forget. For going out of your way to do something just because you know how much it would mean to someone else. For being at all the sporting events, school plays, dance competitions and awards ceremonies, just to show your support. For ultimately loving wholeheartedly.

To whoever becomes a part of this family in the future, bless your heart. We may talk a whole lot and we might be a lot to handle, but it's totally worth it. More than anything I'm so thankful for the love that you all have shown me and you show each other. I'm so blessed to be a part of a family that supports and encourages each other in every aspect of life and is always willing to put in the time for each other.

I could never tell you all enough how much you mean to me and how much I love you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
