To the obstacles in life:
There's something to be said when facing challenges. Sometimes you can easily maneuver around them, but what happens when you can't, depends on your mindset.
It isn't easy to navigate around a tough situation, but you can do it.
I found myself stuck in what I thought was the end of planning things for the future. I felt frustrated and defeated.
But there was a realization: there's never really only one way to get to a goal.
I had to look at all of the options before me and think about how I could make them tie together. The old saying, 'look at the bigger picture,' couldn't be truer. Stepping back to analyze everything really helped to clear my mind in making decisions that worked well together.
There's a catch: being sensible doesn't mean giving up on what you're passionate about. I had to make sensible choices, but the amount of dedication I have for my dreams hasn't diminished at all. If anything, it makes me work ten times harder than I had before to get there.
It doesn't matter what makes sense for those around you, as long as it makes sense for you and your life. Furthermore, as I've said before, no one can tell you to give up hope on something that makes life worthwhile. Never.
I know it seems my writings spur these wild and fanatical ideas, but the truth is: time stops for no one. Being an adult, it can be harder to latch onto such an idea as motivation, but who is going to make your goals a reality if you, yourself, don't?
Seeking advice from those you trust the most also aids in important decisions on handling obstacles. There's no expectation for an expert, but rather, someone who genuinely wants to see you do well and succeed in what you have your heart set on.
I always want my readers to understand that I am not an expert. I'm just a person that wants to put some faith in the things that seem impossible. It may seem fleeting, but any small amount of encouragement may spark something in heart and mind.
An obstacle can never and will never be the end. Let it spur your motivation even more.
Cheers,
Jessica
