To The Girl Who Didn’t Think She Could Do It,

Trust me, I have been there before. I have always had multiple people tell me that I couldn't do what I set my mind to or that I would always need help from someone else. Being 21 and feeling like I am always being treated like I’m 12 does kind of suck. But I am here to tell you that everything will be okay and it will get better.

When someone starts to question you about what you want to do with your life, you should just brush it off. Which, that sounds easier said than done, but sometimes it needs to be done. When you are struggling to do this the main thing that you need to remember is that at the end of the day, the only people that matter are the people that want to support you.

Being treated like a kid is never fun, all though I can understand why someone people do it, it is still something that sucks. When people treat you like a kid it is usually because someone doesn’t want you to grow up and they want you to stay a kid forever. But, I don’t think people understand when they do this, it makes you feel bad.

It makes you feel bad because you know that growing up is something that they don’t want you to do, but you have to. Because it seems as if they have doubts about you, so that makes you have doubts within yourself. If you keep your head up and show that you don’t have any issues it will show them that you got this.

You have to remember that if you can show everybody that you can do this, they will believe you. Don’t let anybody get you down just because they still see you as a little kid. Show them that you got this.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
