Dear Future Husband,
I already know dealing with me will be a handful. I already know I am going to be very high maintenance and I am already prepared for the talks you'll have with me about watching our money. I know you'll say something about how much I'm spending at Hobby Lobby, but I'll always bring up that I used a 40%-off coupon.
I can't wait to wake up next to you every morning. I won't mind your awful morning breath, it's the fact that I'll be right next to you. I am looking forward to steaming your clothes the night before you go to work. I can't wait to get to a text saying, "Can you pick up some Deodorant?"
I truly can not wait for those things with you.
I want to apologize for all the crumbs that will be in the bed from midnight snacks. I want to apologize for stealing all of your covers during the night. I want to apologize for backing into your car one morning while rushing to work. I want to apologize for the nights when I don't cook and I grab Chick-fil-A for dinner.
I'm sure being married to me will be a handful.
I'll most likely be late to church every Sunday. I will probably let our children dress themselves a little too much. I won't vacuum every day and I won't make the bed up every morning. I won't be perfect and I want you to know that.
However, you will know how much I love you.
I will leave you notes throughout the house or in your lunch you take to work. I might surprise you with lunch at work or I might surprise you with little gifts here because I love you. I will try my hardest to make you the happiest man in the world.
I want you to know that you are my lifelong partner. No matter what I want us to work together whether that be deciding on how to discipline our children or making financial decisions. I am ready for forever with you and I do not care what obstacles come our way. I will love you no matter what.
