An Open Letter to My Future Bridesmaids

Dear Future Bridesmaids,

Clearly if you are my bridesmaid, you know me and you know me well. You know I get stressed out easily, you know that I like order, and you know that I will probably cry more than once throughout this whole process.

The good news is that I’ve finally found someone, so now you all share the responsibility of me with this special fellow. Who knows, maybe one of you introduced me to him, and if so, I owe you a huge thank you.

Anyways, this is a letter to thank you for all you have done for me over the years, for all you are doing to make my special day incredible, and for all we will tackle together in the future. You are all so incredibly special to me and I am thankful God placed you all in my life. Some of you I have known my whole life, some of you I feel like I have known you my whole life, even if I haven’t, and who knows, I may not have even met some of you yet. But if you are helping me in this awesome day, know that you are special to me.

Please be prepared because there are sure to be many meltdowns on my part. However, I vow to do my best not to panic.

I am sure the emotions will be rolling pretty strong, especially from my mom. Please give her Kleenex if I am not nearby.

Please make sure one of you does a bomb dance or song for me after I tie the knot. I mean this is a celebration considering we weren’t sure for a while there if Mr. Right would ever come along.

This one may be hard, but please try to keep me levelheaded. We all know how I get when I am stressed… not a pretty sight, and that’s something we can all agree on.

I am going to need a nod/clap/smile of approval from you all when it comes to the details. We also all know I am very indecisive person.

I can’t wait to break it down on the dance floor with every single one of you.

I can’t wait for all the fun pictures we will take.

I can’t wait to jam out while we are getting our hair and makeup done.

I can’t wait to get our nails done together.

I can’t wait to see every one of you standing up there beside the man of my dreams.

I can’t wait to share every memory and moment of this day with each of you.

Even if I may not say it enough, I love you all deeper than the oceans and higher than the trees.

**Disclaimer, I will have a big wedding party, so out of all of you, I expect at least two of you to cry. Just kidding.

All my love,

The Lady in White

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
