An Open Letter to Everyone With Anxiety

This is an open letter to everyone in the world to everyone who may suffer from anxiety. Anxiety is a real thing and probably one of the worst things a person can go through. As someone who is speaking from experience I know how hard it and how hard it can be to cope with other things in life, for example maybe you would be getting anxiety from the classes your taking whether it's college level courses or maybe it's just a typical basic middle school/high school math class. Or maybe you could even have anxiety while being in a relationship with someone which in my opinion can honestly be the worst kind of anxiety. If you are in a relationship with someone and you are having anxiety wondering where they are, why aren't they texting back, why won't they tell me who their with than you need to leave said relationship no matter how much you love said person and no matter how hard it is I promise you you will get through it. Anyone who is going through that deserves so much better and needs to know that there is someone out there who will treat you better and not make you want to ask questions all the time. Another big reason for anxiety could be abuse. If someone is abused they have the fear of not being loved, being betrayed, saying something wrong, and many more things.

Anxiety affects at least 18.1 percent of adults in the United States but don't be fooled that 18.1 percent is approximately 40 million adults between the ages of 18 through 54. These statistics are from the National Institute of Mental Health.

Anxiety can be very minor or it can be very serious but all together it's a hard thing to deal with. I want everyone who suffers from it to know that you will be okay and you will make it through life as long as you don't take things to fast and like my dance studio says always remember to take it step by step. I promise you things will get better one day I know it may be hard right now but you just need to remember there is someone out there who loves you, there is someone out there who wants to help you, and there is someone out there who wants to do everything they possibly can to make you feel like your worth something and to be there for you every day and never leave whether it's a boyfriend/girlfriend, a sibling,a parent, or a best friend, or it could even be a beloved pet. I promise you there will always be someone or something to be there for you and don't think that you're any different from anyone else because remember at least about 40 million other people also suffer from anxiety. You are not the only one! Stay strong and once again remember to always take life step by step, breathe, and remember everything is going to be okay.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
