The way you packed up and left her life like she was nothing more than a replaceable object will never rest easy in my mind. The way you found a new replacement not even a week after spending the night with her will never be understandable. The way you filled her with hope of a long lasting future and than tore it to pieces with no warning will never be a forgivable act. It's ironic because you were the first guy in her life I had high hopes for, but I assure you those hopes have turned to disappointments you could never make up.

Sure, she might delete pictures of you from her social media and block your number from her phone, but unfortunatley, the damage you caused can't be undone so easily. You don't deserve her tears right now, but you certainly didn't deserve to be the reason behind them. I've been her best friend long before you ever came into the picture, and I will continue to be there for the rest of our lives. It doesn't matter if it takes a week, two months, or five years, I will hold her hand and dry her tears until her broken heart slowly heals together again.

Maybe you don't realize it right now, but when you finally see you messed up and want to come crawling back, just know she will be long gone. When you see pictures of her out again, with a smile across her face, I hope you realize you let a beautiful girl go. When you hear about her awesome new job, I hope you realize you let a hardworking woman go. And one day in the future, when you run into her new boyfriend while your out, I hope you realize she's let you go too.

You really did a great job at convincing us you were the perfect guy. I was impressed when you made an effort to meet her family, take her out on expensive dates, and buy her presents to cheer her up. But slowly, I grew worried as she became more distant and less happy. Every time she called me crying I felt less and less at ease with you. And while it still shocks me how you left her without a proper goodbye or reasonable explanation, at least now she has a bright future to look forward too, one that doesn't include a false hope like you.

I hope when you read this letter, that it sinks deep into your cold unforgiving heart and fills you with regret. Yet despite all the damage you have caused, I still wish you the best in your life, but just know you will never have a place in her's again.
