There is no doubt in my mind that Buckeyes are not only college students and fans, but also a huge family. And although we learn that there are 26 letters in the alphabet, at THE Ohio State University, there are only 25.

It's time to learn THE ABC's of THE Ohio State University:

A is for Adriatico's

Two words: amazing pizza!

B is for Buckeyes & Brutus

C is for COTA

From Easton to the Short North, to downtown Columbus, COTA buses are your "free" ride to exploring Columbus (with your BuckID, of course)!

D is for the Tom W. Davis Bell Tower

Because the University definitely couldn't have found a better way to spend $1.4 million, like fixing ceilings leak, and occasionally fall in when snow melts.

E is for Experience

Whether it be experiencing the Game Day hype or witnessing Brutus running across the Oval, here at OSU you are sure to have the experience of a lifetime!

F is for Football

Look for The Big Nut, watch the band, and sing Carmen-- Go Bucks!

G is for Game Day

So much energy.

H is for High Street

Starbucks, Chipotle, Panera, Canes, and UDF milkshakes and ice cream, it's likely that there is a place on High Street to satisfy any craving!

I is for "I-O"

Yell "O-H" and you're sure to get an "I-O" back! Buckeyes for life!

J is for JO South

K is for Kcomm

South campus' holy grail for dining hall food-- nothing is better than grilled cheese week.

L is for Lincoln (and Morrill) Towers

My apologies to anyone on the 23rd floor during a fire drill or if the elevator breaks.

M technically does not exist but also stands for Mirror Lake

Too bad it's consumed by construction until [tentatively] summer 2018.

N is for North Campus

Home to the North Rec & the ever so popular Scott Dining Hall!

O is for The Oval

When the weather is nice, the Oval is buzzing with students walking to class, studying outside, or playing Frisbee.

P is for Parking

Parking on campus, actually, almost anywhere in Columbus, is a nightmare-- extremely limited and overpriced-- watch out for CampusParc!

Q is for Quality of Education

Ohio State goes above and beyond in many ways, so there's no doubt that academics are extraordinary. According to U.S. News and World Report, The Ohio State University ranks #1 among Ohio public universities, and #16 among the nation's best public universities.

R is for RPAC

Swim, use equipment, run on the track, or take fitness classes-- the RPAC is the perfect place to go to avoid the Freshman 15.

S is for The Shoe

With the capacity of holding nearly 105,000 fans, there's no doubt that football games are full of surging fan energy.

T is for THE Ohio State University

Don't make the mistake of saying just "Ohio State University," because you will more than likely be corrected that it is "THE Ohio State University."

U is for The Ohio Union

With a gorgeous view of the South Oval, the Union is the perfect place to study, grab coffee or lunch, or eat late-night Sloopy's with friends.

V is for Veterinary Medicine

According to US News & World Report Best Graduate Schools, the College of Veterinary Medicine at tOSU is ranked #5 in North American veterinary schools.

W is for Wilce Student Health Center

Colds and the flu spread faster than anything on campus, so when it's finally time to bite the bullet, head to Wilce Student Health Center so that you can get back to your normal college-student self!

X is for X's during "Beat Xichigan" Week

Because "M" technically doesn't exist - especially the week of playing Xichigan, you will struggle to find a single "M" on campus that has not been crossed out.

Y is for Younkin Success Center

Younkin provides tutoring, career, counseling, and many other services which ensure that students at The Ohio State University have everything they need in order to succeed.

Z is for The Columbus Zoo

A fun place to go for time away from campus-- and especially fun close to Christmas for Zoo Lights!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
