Midterm exams are sure to be one of the most stressful parts of the semester, aside from finals. Often times, they can be just as important as finals too. Studying may not include blood and sweat, but odds are there are at least a few tears. There's a lot of emotions during midterms, and here is Michael Scott and his team to make them come to life.
1. When the T.A. sends out a study guide
About the only thing worse than studying for midterms is having no idea what to study for the exams, so when the TA sends out what materials to study, it's finger gun time. Thank them because they really didn't have to do that, but they did.
2. *Stares blankly at exam*
We all know what it feels like to study (or not) for an exam and immediately having no idea what any of the questions mean. Michael Scott gets it, you're not alone.
3. When you ask a friend if they want to study together and they say no
If you don't want to study with me that's fine, just don't expect me to ask again, even though I probably will next exam. Have fun studying alone, I hope you're really productive and get a lot done.
4. When you see the scantrons being passed out
These tiny pieces of paper covered in bubbles waiting to be filled are honestly some of the most nerve-wracking things to see, but don't worry! You studied. Maybe? Didn't think so.
5. When you finish the first exam and realize there's still three more
Finishing an exam you've been studying for weeks is a great feeling, until you realize you have an exam in every other class and all that happiness is ripped away. Like Michael Scott said, put on a brave face and power through, you've got this.
6. Thinking you did decent on an exam, then getting your failing grade back
Is it worse to know you did bad on an exam in the first place or to think you did well until you get your score back and you bombed it?
7. Or doing way better than you thought you did
It's safe to say it's a wonderful feeling to get an exam back you thought you did horribly on, and you actually did well. Don't sell yourself short, kid, you did it (this time)!
8. When you walk into your last exam
After three or four exams, you're probably dead inside and that's okay. Once your last exam is over you'll be feeling better in no time.
9. When you walk out of your last exam
Walking out of your last midterm is sure to be the beginning of the best part of your week, so take it in and be thankful you're done.
10. When it's all over
It's over! After all of the stress and tears, you're probably just glad that it's over.
Midterms come along with a rollercoaster of emotions, but they'll be over before you know it. Happy studying, see you during finals!
