Screaming from a mountaintop, no one around to hear
Losing oxygen rapidly but not a soul is near
Choking on the gases that infiltrate my lungs
The light now glints above the trees, my time has finally come
With emphasis and eagerness I kick off from the peak
And plunge into the future that once did look so bleak
Now it's rather gleeful as my adrenaline grows high
Flecks of white and blurs of teal soaring past my eyes
I squint them, in protection, and avert them to the skies
Fire and ice, they dance, and I am finally at peace
Then my skull cracks on a boulder and I'm met with sweet release
