For those of you who have never been to a Missouri State Hockey game, you are missing out.

Not only do I get amazing seats but the energy within the complex is electric.

Picture this, you are standing by the glass right behind the goal. You are startled by the sound of music blaring. As you look up everyone around you starts beating on the glass as the Missouri State flag makes its appearance on the ice. Then without fail the entire hockey comes out. Everyone is cheering their heart out. It's at that moment that you feel at home.

That doesn't have to be a dream for you! That can be your reality if you start going to the Ice Bears games.

I have always enjoyed hockey but I never until I went to an Ice Bears game. The crisp cold air on my face makes feel so alive inside. Hearing the puck hit the glass causes an automatic jerk that is extremely thrilling.

The energy that roars through the crowd when we score a goal causes an adrenaline that is indescribable. Watching the players rally around each makes you truly understand the sense of family that comes from being a Bear.

Being a Bear may just be a title for some students but for most of us being a Bear means we are apart of a community that will carry us on and off the ice.

Thank you Ice Bears for reminding me of why I love being a Missouri State student. Thank you for filling my weekends with joy and adventure.

Thank you for being our hockey team.

All of us students appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put into your sport.

Also, thank you for making sure that I don't ever get hit with a puck.
