Nyx Cosmetics opened its first store on the East coast in Wayne, New Jersey on February 19, 2016 at the Willowbrook Mall! It is one of the few Nyx stores to be open for this makeup company and it was a huge deal. It was a big four-day event and I had the pleasure of going on Friday, the official first day. In case you're unaware about the makeup brand Nyx, it is an incredibly affordable, animal cruelty-free makeup brand.

Although Nyx products are very affordable, the payoff is amazing. Nyx products are just as good as high-end products. Nyx products can be purchased through their website, CVS, Target, and Ulta. Nyx is highly loved by many Youtubers and they often feature their products in their videos. Lately, there has been comparison videos with Nyx's "Liquid Lingerie Lipstick" vs. Kylie Jenner's liquid lipsticks and most of the Youtubers favor Nyx over Kylie because they are hydrating and don't crack your lips.

At the four-day event, the first 250 people each morning will get a wristband, a scratch-off ticket and a free lip shaped makeup bag! Each scratch off ticket has a prize, a few people will be able to win a $100 Nyx shopping spree! The wristbands allow you to meet the special Youtube guest for that day. The Youtubers who visited the Nyx store are, Ciaoobelllaxo, Amy Pham, Shamelessmaya, Amanda Ensing, and Nicole Guerriero. The store was complete heaven, they had over 2,000 products you can swatch, learn about, and purchase!

I loved being around people who are just obsessed with makeup and Nyx like I am. Nyx brought out a big pink carpet to make the guests feel like movie stars, it was so cool! They had this cool device where you could scan your product and it would show some makeup looks on a screen that used that product. They also had a section where you can customize your own palette with the colors of your choice.

They had so many products in the store it looked amazing. The store its self is breathtaking, it may become more popular than the Sephora store in the mall! If you live in or near North Jersey and you love makeup I highly suggest going to the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, New Jersey. You will be in heaven and the employees are so nice and helpful! You will be able to find any Nyx product you want in that store, the store is endless.
