New York Fashion Week is one of the biggest fashion shows there is. NYFW showcase all the classic designers, new designers, and graduate student designers. NYFW is where you can get all the latest collections from your favorite designers and much more. NYFW is also where you can get the latest fashion trends for the season. NYFW is dedicated to all fashion from apparel, accessories, hair and makeup. There were a lot of different trends in this upcoming NYFW, that had everyone excited for the fall. Classic designers from Marc Jacobs to Alexander Wang had collections shown at NYFW. The trends at NYFW I want to talk about is hair trends that I saw on the runway for this upcoming fall.

1. Texture

Throughout NYFW I noticed most of the models who were modeling Rag and Bone and Louis Vuitton had very textured hair. Textured curly hair is one hairstyle trend that I noticed on the runway. Texture curls is one hairstyle trend for the fall. These textured curls are very wild and all over the place. These curls can not be tamed! This is one hairstyle that you won't have to do every morning!

2. Knots

This is another hairstyle I saw on the NYFW runway. Knots are an updated style from the ponytail. Knots are what's in for the fall. Knots became popular so fast, now everywhere you look they are being worn. Knots is in style for this upcoming fall. Knots is a very sleek and contained hairstyle. This style can be worn any season. If you want a sophisticated look the knots are just the style for you!

3. Waves/finger waves

Waves have become the biggest hair trend for the fall. I noticed a lot of models rocking waves on the NYFW runway this season. Waves are a must-have hairstyle to wear during the fall. You can just shake your hair and go. That's the best thing about waves, you don't have to fix or style your waves when you add a little holding spray on them. Finger waves have been around for a long time and now they are coming back. I noticed some models on the runway wearing finger waves. Finger waves have been around since the early 20's and now they are back for fall 2016. Get ready and get wavy for this fall!

4. Tie down ponytail

Ponytails have been around for a long time. There were a lot of models on the NYFW runway rocking the tie down ponytail. The tie down ponytail is just really a sleek tight ponytail. You can rock the tie down ponytail; any season but it's mainly for the fall. Sleek is fall! Don't forget your tie down ponytail!

Thank you for reading my article this week! Next week I will be talking more about NYFW and the makeup trends that was seen on the runway.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
