All My Favorite Things Happen In November, So It Can't End So Soon

November's weather is amazing, isn't it? We have fall coming to an end and winter arriving in full swing. I actually have mixed feelings about winter.

Sometimes I love winter because the possibility of classes getting canceled. Other times I love winter because it is a perfect time to have a cup of coffee. I personally like fall better but hey right now we have fall and winter. November is just about to end in two weeks or so.

Everyone always looks forward to Thanksgiving and Black Friday. November is known for the month of shopping. Black Friday is always look forward to because of the amazing deals. You see people in lines outside of stores on Black Friday like four to six hours early.

We all know Black Friday is a hustle and chaotic with everyone wanting something before the stock is out. Possible arguments or fights are about to occur on the last item of a certain product. Black Friday is a time where everyone likes to get Holiday shopping done but also like to shop for upgrading the furniture or appliances in one's house.

College students look forward to the three to four-day break and going back home to visit family and friends. I know I look forward to break just to finally have the time to unwind and relax and finally sleep in. November is also known as the month of giving as Thanksgiving is in this month.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on your blessings and thank people in your life. Thanksgiving is also a time to appreciate everything in your life whether that's people or blessings. Practicing gratitude can really help with being thankful. Instead of being thankful on one day you can practice writing three things that you are thankful for each and every day.

The more thankful you are the more outcome you will see. However, some people also do hold family or traditional gatherings on Thanksgiving but others do not. Some also take this time to travel and see family members that they meant to see in the longest time but couldn't find time to see them.

Thanksgiving as a whole is a day that's meant to be spent with family and spreading appreciation. Native Americans were the ones to thank for the start of Thanksgiving. We have taken the tradition of gatherings from Native Americans.

November is also known as the month of "National veterans and military families." We should celebrate those who risk their lives every single day to keep the country a safe place to live in. After all military officers and veterans do deserve some recognition for hard work and sacrifice to serve the country.

Lastly, November is known as the "Native American month". Everyone has there own favorite month and usually it is the month in one's birthday Also everyone has there own reasons for a month that is their favorite. However, I have my own reasons for November being my favorite month. November is my favorite month of the year because of these ten reasons!

1. Family birthdays are within this month.

We heard so much about people who are born in the month of November. Some of us have family members born in this month or relatives who have birthdays this month. The first reason why I love November is because it's my birthday month but also another member of my family's birthday within the month.

2. Thanksgiving is around the corner.

Isn't it just almost here. How many more days? Yes, you guessed it Thanksgiving is second reason for November being my favorite month. Thanksgiving is a time where family gets together from all over the place. Thanksgiving is a time where you can stuff yourself how much you want. Thanksgiving is also a time where stories get told and you give back to people or give thanks to people who you mean to give thinks to.

3. Black Friday is coming up also.

Black Friday is a time where everyone gets out of their houses a few hours earlier just to be first. Black Friday is a day which is very anticipated and very looked forward to. I know I love the deals on Black Friday. On Black Friday you can literally buy anything at the real price that is worth.

4. Break is literally next week.

Every college student or most college students look forward to break. Everyone gets packing and gets ready to go home. Many people look forward to break, because its time to go home and eat some real good food. It is finally a break from classes and work and just time to unwind.

5. Winter has started.

Winter usually comes around mid-November or early December. This year winter came around in early November and as much as I despise winter I actually am enjoying it. No winter is complete without a cup of coffee on the daily.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
