10 Shows That Will Get You In The Halloween Mood If You Hate Scary Movies

These spooky shows are sure to get you in the Halloween mood. They aren't too scary, so expect some good vibes this fall.

1. Stranger Things

Despite having monsters, this show is more of an adventure than it is scary. It has enough of a Halloween vibe, though, to get you feeling spooky. Both seasons are on Netflix and it's perfect for binge-watching this fall!

2. Nightmare Before Christmas

It took me forever to watch this movie, but it's definitely my go-to Halloween movie now! I love it, and the songs are so catchy!

3. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

This show is ridiculous, but I promise it's a good time! Tim Curry is a star, and the entire film is full of classic, spooky bops!

4. The Addams Family/Addams Family Values

Nothing says Halloween more than this spooky family. They're cooky, spooky, and hilarious!

5. Ghostbusters

It's a classic. Even if you don't like the movie, you know all of the words to the theme song.

6. Hocus Pocus

These witches are the best non-scary trio this Halloween. (Bonus points for Bette Middler's "I Put A Spell On You")

7. Practical Magic

This story about two witch sisters is definitely more of a love story, but there's enough spookiness to call it a Halloween movie.

8. Caspar

Caspar is some good, wholesome haunting for this fall. Fun fact: the main girl in this movie played Wednesday in the Addams Family.

9. Beetlejuice

Don't say his name more than twice. Winona Ryder is super spooky in this movie and Beetlejuice himself is creepy AND funny!

10. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

This show has so many seasons and so many monsters that you'll have enough binge material all fall! It'll have you feeling like you can take on any monster this year!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
