Coming back from college is a big adjustment. From having a ton of tasks and assignments to sitting in bed debating when you should take a shower, life is very different. Moving from hectic Miami pace to casual Georgia pace makes you feel as if time is going by unimaginably slow. Here are 10 reasons you know you're not in Miami anymore.
1. The sound of honking is less frequent and the sound of a minute long rampage car horn attack rarely ever happens.
2. People actually wave when you let them in therefore showing signs of courtesy.
3. There is a lot of small talk. "How are you? How is your grandmother doing?"
4. There are less opportunities to brighten up on Spanish.
5. You can walk outside and face the heat without feeling damp like you walked through the Amazon Rain Forest.
6. Food doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
7. It doesn't take 45 minutes to get two feet down the road in the middle of the day.
8. People make use of the red light while driving.
9. Chick-fil-A is easy to access.
10. You can count on people to be on time since "Miami time" means everyone is late.
