Nostalgia About the Childhood Days

Bringing back the memories

Nostalgia About the Childhood Days

Growing up we take some childhood memories for granted. Us 90's/20's children had a great run and had some really great memories to look back on. When we were kids all we wanted to do was grow up and now we are adults and have responsibilities, we want to go back to the carefree years. I hope this list brings back good memories and make ya realize how old we all are.

1. Memories at School

When your locker never jammed

Getting AR points from all the Harry Potter books

Reading the Series of Unfortunate Events books

"Will you go with me to the middle school dance?"

2 hour delays for school when it barely snowed

Getting to sit in the back of the bus as you got older

Passing notes in class instead of texting

When the book fair came to school

When your crush wrote "call me" in your yearbook

Beating the time on a timed multiplication tables test

Not being hit in the face when you played Dodgeball in gym

Watching Bill Nye the Science guy in science class

Heads Up 7 Up on a rainy day when you couldn't go outside for recess

Being chosen to be line leader

Nap time during school (why did that ever end?)

2. Technology

When you moved up on someone's MySpace Top 8 Best Friend List

Staying up all night on AIM and constructing the perfect away message

Sending chain e-mails

When your phone call went through to Radio Disney to request a song

Picking the perfect song to go with your MySpace layout

Making mixed CDs for all your friends birthdays

Talking for hours on a home phone with a cord and having to sit in one place to talk

Getting disposable camera pictures developed

Playing with Paint and pinball on the computer

3. Activities we've outgrown

Going on bikerides in your neighborhood to get to your friends house

Actually getting the most popular movie at Blockbuster when you had sleepovers with your best friend

Orange slices and CapriSuns at halftime of rec soccer

Shopping at Justice/Limited Too

When a new American Girl Doll catalogue came in the mail

Birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese

Hanging up picture of Hillary Duff because she was the coolest person ever

Running through sprinklers

Playing manhunt/flashlight tag in your neighborhood park

Disney Wonder Balls and frozen go-gurts

Giving your all to keep your Tamagotchi alive

Having 20 Livestrong bracelets on both arms and always being down to trade

4. Big Moments of Childhood

Not being able to wait to turn "sweet sixteen" and be able to drive a car

When you fell in love with Zac Efron during the premiere of High School Musical

Going to all of the Twilight movie premiers (don't act like you didn't)

When That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Hannah Montana all had an episode together

GETTING ON TV AND BEING INTERVIEWED FOR GOING TO A HARRY POTTER MIDNIGHT BOOK PREMIER (Big moment in my life, guys)

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

11 Things We Learned From Brooke Davis

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:

We all have a person, and when that person makes some new friends, we tend to forget all the great things that can come out of it. Never forget how special they are to you and why you are best friends.
