In a nutshell, coffee is amazing!
A cup of joe can be anything from grande lattes, double doubles, free trades or home brews.
It is no wonder why we've become quite attached to our love of coffee to the degree of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore that it's a daily grind.
That is why worldwide coffee shop chains like Starbucks serve customers' coffee through to-go windows and crowded counters.
We'll take another cup, please.
However, many people don't take the time to enjoy a carefully brewed cup of coffee or socialize during coffee breaks anymore.
As a student, I appreciate the ease and efficient nature of Starbucks and like entities but myself as well as other students have become so reliant on caffeine it is no longer a memorable experience.
It wasn't until I began volunteering at one of the cafe's on my campus that rather than being alone and quickly choking down a cup of mediocre, lukewarm coffee in order to "fuel up" I started going to a different brew.
A place where people relax, get work done, or chat with friends while also, getting a caffeine boost.
You can almost smell its sweet aroma.
I challenge you to embrace the coffee shop culture of our past like "Central Perk" from "Friends".
Engage in interesting conversations with others detached from electronics, take a break from studying, and enjoy a cup of coffee.
All it takes is grind over matter.
