During my sophomore year of high school, I created the Global section of The Student Voice, a division of the paper covering news from outside the school community that remained applicable to our readers.
Now in college, I miss the long nights working with staff and the camaraderie we shared, and in the coming weeks, I plan on writing another column (or two) about my experiences on staff and the parts I miss most.
For now, I hope to reestablish one of the standing features I created for the section: the news quiz. Every few weeks (maybe once a month), I'd create a questionnaire testing readers on how closely they follow world events with the answers posted on the bottom.
Creating these quizzes was one of the most fun aspects of working on Global, and hopefully, you'll enjoy the quiz as well. Without further ado, please enjoy this news quiz!
