Every year after New Year's, everyone is so determined to come up with a New Year's Resolution they actually think they are going to follow this year. Even though the year before and the year before that, it lasted maybe a week at most. Let's face it, no matter what you make your resolution, it is highly unlikely that you are actually going to follow through with it. The Kardashians easily sum up any efforts into trying to keep up with your resolutions.
It's not going to happen so why even try
You knew last year it didn't work so why bother this year...
You're only going to keep the resolutions you actually care about
And not the ones that people force upon you...
You're just telling yourself not to do things you want to do OR to do the things you don't want to do
Keep the bad vibes out...
This "lifestyle change" you're trying to do hasn't been a part of your life for a reason
It'll completely throw off your daily routines...
When people try to tell you that you need to start changing your habits and your lifestyle choices
Don't listen to the haters, they don't know what they're saying...
After trying to keep up with the resolution for a week, you've had enough
Boredom or laziness, who knows...
You don't even care enough, simply put
Like let me just my life...
When you give up, you're not even phased
Not a quitter, you just lost interest...
You do you, don't let anyone tell you what to do
Let life take its course...
Whether its deciding to go to the gym more, be nicer to people, lose weight or whatever, unless you're really determined, after week 1 you're going to give up. You're not used to it, and you're trying to change your lifestyle in a completely extreme way, 360 degrees. I do believe that some New Year's Resolutions can be possible. However the way they have developed culturally and how they are implemented into people's lives make it so hard to stick with them. It needs to be a more gradual change, little steps that lead to bigger changes.
But, with whatever you choose to do this year, good luck!
Sincerely,
The Kardashians
