Every year we see people saying what their New Year’s Resolution is. Most of the time it is to lose weight or to find a significant other. Maybe they want to quit a habit. However, they usually do not follow through with their resolutions. Here are my 2017 resolutions that are easy to follow!
I want to be more patient. I like to think I am patient but I really am not. I want to become less pushy and stop getting frustrated at little things. The more patience I have the better my life will be and the less stress I will have.
I want to become healthier. It is hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle for a whole year, but small steps are the key. I will workout AT LEAST once a week at the gym. I will stop drinking soda, even though I hardly do, and I will watch my carb intake. There is no set weight goal I want to be at. I really just want to be healthier and feel healthier.
I want to learn to go with the flow. Growing up I was always a planner. I would freak out if something did not go the way it was planned. It is really hard for me to just go with the flow but I want to learn how to relax and not stress about things I cannot control.
I want to be better with my money. I am not terrible with money but I want to learn how to save and budget my money more. I would love to set aside $20 a week that way at the end of the year I have extra money for something like a gift or a vacation.
I want to watch more movies. I am not a movie person compared to a lot of people. I have seen movies but my boyfriend has seen like eight times more movies than me. I want to watch a variety of genres and expand my movie knowledge.
I want to keep my house clean. It is so hard to keep the house clean with dogs but I really want to try and maintain it!
Lastly, I want to train my body to wake up at a certain time every morning and go to sleep by a certain time. I would love to wake up at 7:30 am every morning and be in bed by 11:30 pm.
While these may be small resolutions, they are a step to a better life for me! Having small steps helps you reach big goals!
