It's a start of a new school year. One might be thinking, "oh great, another year, I just want fall/Thanksgiving break to get here " or "gosh I hope I don't run into so-and-so ." NEWS FLASH: don't worry about it.
Transitioning from high school to college (or in my case, transitioning different colleges) or starting off fresh is far from easy. Each year, we are thrown with/into a variety of situations and obstacles that challenges us. Good or bad, they give us a lesson to learn. Most importantly, each year brings out a year of change, transition, and growth.
As an individual approaching her (super) senior year, here is three pieces of advice I would like to give to all those stressing out for a fresh start:
1. YOU'RE OK. There have been numerous times in my life when I felt like I was never going to get through passing a class, a bad falling out, or simply a school year. Remember, this is just life throwing obstacles/challenges to test your will and ability in what you do or aim to do.
2. Stay Positive. No matter what happens, everything has it's time and place. Most of all, it gets better with time.
3. Breathe. Similar to all of the above, we are all human. Smile and Breathe, everything will be alright.
