Have you ever had an eerie feeling walking past a graveyard? Graveyards can be quite haunting and morbid, can’t they? Or has your dog knocked over “grandpa”? Or maybe “dad” was mistakenly poured into your coffee like in the movie ‘Due Date’?
What would you do if I told you that this will no longer be a problem? That you could have your recently deceased loved one live forever? You would think I’m crazy.
But the truth is this: There is such a thing as life after death and it is through a tree. There is a company that makes 'Bios Urn' and 'Bios Incube' (Bios Incube is not yet released).
This urn turns your cremated loved one or pet into a tree of your choice, which could be maple, pine, gingko, beech, or ash. These urns are made out of coconut and are biodegradable, and include a seed which can be planted in your yard or in a forest. Your recently deceased will transform and return to life through something beautiful: Nature.
Here’s how Bios Urn works:
There are two compartments. The top section holds a seed, soil mix, and an expansion disc. The soil mix allows for water flow and the expansion disc increases to mix the ashes, which are held in the lower section. The expansion disc allows for decomposition and allows the ashes to help the tree grow.
Here’s how Bios Incube works:
This is the world’s first incubator designed for the afterlife. All you need to do is plant your Bios Urn inside of the Bios Incube until soil is covering the top, put the sensor on the soil and fill the Bios Incube with water.
After that, you can connect to the app on your mobile device and sync to your Bios Incube! You will be able to track and monitor your tree’s vital signs while it combines it’s data to understand the specific needs of your tree. You can stay up to date on environmental conditions like local weather that could affect your tree, learn about the soil’s amount of fertilizer, temperature and moisture, water quality and light exposure, all while Bios waters itself!
Cost of a Bios Urn?
$145 + shipping. And an object for you to admire and remember your deceased loved one for the rest of your life? Priceless.
These biodegradable urns will transform cemeteries into forests. They are also respectful to the environment, and not an eye sore, like many cemeteries can be.
After my death, I would be blessed to re-enter this world as
a tree for my future generations to enjoy and cherish.
