I will never understand guys.

I cannot understand how a guy can make promises that they know they will never keep.

I cannot understand how a guy can see that happiness and smile coming from a girl and then turn around and leave her/stop talking to her.

How can he go from talking to a girl every day (including saying “good morning” and “good night”) and just stop talking to them like it’s nothing?

To the girl, it feels like we lost a part of ourselves.

But, to him, it’s easy.

It’s like he doesn’t think twice about it.

It comes naturally to him.

How can a guy tell a girl he loves her and not mean it?

How can he meet her parents and know it won’t last?

How can he make future plans with her or promise to do things knowing there won’t be a future?

How can he invest so much time and money into dates and just leave?

How can a guy put so much energy into making the girl feel special when she really isn’t all that special?

How can guys parade girls into their home, in front of their friends, and in front of their parents and no one says a thing to the girl to let her know that she isn’t the “first girl he has brought home and she won’t be the last.”

How can hurting a girl come so easily?

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
