The magic of Disney World has the ability to spark the inner child in every park patron. Regardless of age, seeing the Walt Disney World gate will make one giddy with excitement. Children and adults alike will be singing along to the timeless tunes of their childhood when the extravagant floats of a parade go down the length of Main Street U.S.A.
One will always stare in amazement at the magnitude and intricacy of Cinderella’s Castle, smile when one sees one of their favorite Disney characters taking pictures, and rush to the lines of some of the can’t miss rides. To a Disney lover at heart, riding a mine train up, down, and through mountains on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is just as exciting as sitting in a slow-moving clam shell and experiencing the musical adventure of "The Little Mermaid". For many of us, the magic does not go away. Sharing this experience with your loved ones will create memories that last a lifetime.
I went to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World this past week and I can confidently say that the magic of Disney does not fade. Besides being able to go on a few more rides, the thrill was all the same. To the people who feel that they are too old or too cool, I ask you to expand your horizons and open your heart.
To the people who may think that Disney World is only for little kids: Disney World has attractions that appeal to every age. There are shows, thrilling roller coasters, firework shows, and great shopping. You can catch some jokes at the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, or see Walt Disney's presentation of the lifestyles of past decades and how progress has brought us to where we are today. Fun roller coasters like Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, and Rockin' Roller Coaster are not for young children. Disney's firework shows are unparalleled. They shoot them off directly behind the castle and will leave the entire audience in awe. As soon as you hear them being shot off, you should make your way over to the castle because you do not want to miss them. The best shopping is in Disney Springs! In addition to having the largest Disney store in the world, there are clothing stores, art shops, restaurants, and so much more.
As any Disney geek knows, Disney World is truly the most magical place on Earth. If you are one of those people that think they are too old to enjoy some time there, I urge you to look a little closer at the parks. Walt Disney World is for everyone, regardless of age.
