There have been a handful of new shows coming out on Netflix recently, but one of the shows that I have absolutely loved is "Nailed It." If you haven't seen what this show is about, during each episode three different home bakers come to try and recreate nice desserts for the chance of winning $10,000.
Now there are a ton of great things about this show, from the host to the baking it is a whirlwind of baking masterpieces. A lot of the time the host can make or break the show. The host of this show totally makes the show. She is hilarious and her commentary on other people's baking creations is astounding and so relatable. In addition to this, she is so relatable and has that air of how we would react if we were in that situation.
Looking at the show itself, I mean who doesn't love a good baking show. Yet, there are so many baking shows out there that are the same thing. Who can cook the provided dish the best or who can create the best new dish, but this show is a complete 360 to most of these typical baking shows. All of those baking fails that you see online have finally been put into a baking competition.
This show basically takes home bakers who are not necessarily the best and throws them into a competition where they have to recreate some insane desserts. From a Baker's Choice round which is kind of a warm-up with a simpler challenge, while still being detailed, to the final challenge of Nailed It or Failed It, where the bakers have to recreate an elaborate dessert (usually a cake).
It is insane how the bakers make these desserts, not going to lie I definitely laughed at how bad some of them turned out. Yet, this is a great spin on your normal baking show. It is such a unique position to see these bakers who aren't that great trying to recreate these insane dishes.
Overall, if you need a new show to watch definitely sit down and take a minute to watch this because it is definitely worth it. From a good laugh to interesting baking it is definitely such a fun show to be able to watch. Especially if you need something to just kind of put on in the background while you work on something.
Plus, it is just a good show to watch and let's be real, there are a lot of us who are always looking for new shows to watch. So why not take a chance on a new show. Also, you can't really go wrong with a food show, especially when there's an entertainment value to it as well. I mean Masterchef isn't just popular for the cooking that goes on in it.
Enjoy the show!
