With finals soon coming to an end the lingering question is "what show am I going to binge now?". Well, don't fret because I have the perfect fix for you! Here are some of Netflix original shows that honestly are superb.

1. "Orange is the New Black"

2. "Stranger Things"

With its second season recently coming out, this show is perfect for anyone who wants a suspense-filled drama with five kids that will make you laugh, cry, and say "same". Although the Upsidedown may not be the most pleasant place to spend your winter break you won't regret it.

3. "Thirteen Reasons Why"

Although there is a lot of controversy on this show, it is still extremely well written and portrayed and although you know how the show ends it’s about the story and how everyone is linked that gets you hooked, so sit down by the fire and listen to Hannah’s tapes.

4. "Santa Clarita Diet"

This dark comedy tells a story of a young woman who becomes a zombie and resorts to eating people. It's about how she and her husband attempt to keep her alive and honestly, it's so funny. 10/10 would recommend, (WARNING: not for the squeamish).

5. "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life"

The sequel to the much loved "Gilmore Girls", Netflix takes you to present day and what Rory and Lorelai Gilmore are up to. It's amazing for closure and a new perspective on this cute mother-daughter duo.

6. "The Ranch"

If you loved "That 70s Show" then this show is perfect for you, with most of the cast being from T7S, the show is hilarious and perfect for a nice Friday night sitcom.

7. "Mindhunter"

One of Netflix's newest releases, this show follows two FBI agents as they work with a psychology detective to uncover why serial killers do what they do. This psychological thriller takes "Se7en", "Silence of the Lambs", "Dexter", and "Criminal Minds", and the director David Fincher doesn't disappoint his fans in his newest show.

8. "Club de Cuervos"

For any Spanish speakers out there, this hilarious Mexican comedy takes you through the life of two spoiled adults that take over the family business of running the soccer club team of Nuevo Toledo. This show makes me laugh until I cry every time and completely captures the essence of the modern Mexican culture. Super recomendado!!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
