Now that the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving is over, you can snuggle up with a warm cup of cider and your laptop, and prepare to get major fashion-inspo from these five shows, all currently on Netflix.
1. Friends
Two words: Rachel Green. Style (and hair!) icon of the 90s, Rachel’s classic turtlenecks, plaid skirts and retro graphic tees are nothing if not nostalgia-inducing.
2. The Carrie Diaries
The controversial prequel to the beloved "Sex And The City" follows a young Carrie Bradshaw's adventures at Interview Magazine under her fabulous, irreverent boss, Larissa. Carrie will inspire you to score a gig at a fashion magazine, mix leopard print with polka dots, wear high heels every day, and above all, live boldly.
3. Gossip Girl
This list would not be complete without the show that ignited a headband frenzy and coined iconic phrases like “Tights are not pants!” Binge "Gossip Girl" this Thanksgiving vacation to (re)fall in love with Blair and Serena’s high-society wardrobes.
4. Pretty Little Liars
To this day, I find myself hopelessly confused by the ending of "Pretty Little Liars," but the “Liars’” fantastic style is clear. Though I could appreciate Spencer’ preppy polos and khakis, Emily’s athleisure and Hanna’s fierce shoe picks, I found myself most drawn to Aria’s edgy, experimental outfits — she was never without the perfect accessories!
5. Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce
I believe that “GG2D” is the most underrated show on television. Come for drama rivaling even that of the "Real Housewives," but stay for powerful lawyer Delia’s gorgeous coords and whimsical Phoebe’s flowy, boho-chic dresses!
