Let's face it. Netflix is always the answer. Have a twelve-page paper to write? Watch Netflix. Have a whole day of chores ahead of you? Watch Netflix. Spent the day on the couch watching Netflix all day? Watch more Netflix. Have various important responsibilities? Watch Netflix. We are all guilty of it and all the best people are.
I know sometimes I can fly through a series and ignore all my responsibilities and it has happened more than once. Here is a list of five shows that are on Netflix that everyone should watch. All of these have finished airing on television and have uploaded all of their seasons to Netflix for you to binge-watch as many times as your heart desires.
1. "Friends"
A classic. This hilarious and iconic show about six friends in the 90s is always a must-watch. Or rewatch. I have probably watched the whole series through at least seven times. This show is so quotable and a lot of the quotes make for great Instagram captions. If you're in the mood to watch some shenanigans and laugh until your stomach hurts, then this is the show for you.
2. "The Office"
Probably one of the funniest shows around. I know I love watching the employees of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company get themselves into some questionable but hilarious situations. Another great Instagram caption generator. This is definitely a show that's great to watch on a snow day or just a lazy Saturday. I know I can always count on Michael Scott to make me snort my drink out of my nose or Make my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
3. "Parks and Recreation"
One of my favorite shows. From the very first episode all the way to the last one, I was so engrossed in this show. I can always count on it for some laughs and to pick up my mood if I am not feeling it. I love watching the Pawnee, Indiana parks and recreation department go through their days and deal with all the obstacles that present themselves.
4. "Gilmore Girls"
This is one of my absolute favorite shows. I love watching the Gilmore ladies as they tackle family, relationship, and work or school problems. I can also always count on Emily Gilmore to give me the best comebacks or for Lorelai Gilmore to give me reasons to drink coffee or Rory Gilmore to motivate me to read more and be the best student I can be.
5. "Glee"
Who doesn't love singing high schoolers? It's like High School Musical, without the musical production. I love how relevant the issues in this show are and how I can always count on the musical numbers to cheer me up if I'm having a bad day or give me a good cry when I really need it. One of the best musical shows out there, if you ask me. I can watch this over and over again.
