The Playoffs, The One Seed, and The MVPs.

A Lakers team with no one other than LeBron and AD can't be the one seed right? Well we have been proven wrong, it's time for us to acknowledge the greatness of the Lakers duo. They are battle tested and it's time for us to stop doubting them. However, a part of me still thinks a crazy 3 shooting back court can DESTROY this team. When I look at the Lakers I see way too many holes that should have been exploited that just haven't been. -----Take for example the surprise OKC team this year. They close out games with a 3 guard back court of SGA, CP3, and Schroeder. This guard line up is DYNAMITE as an offense. Their net rating is +30 when they are on the floor. That is insane, it is by far the best 3 man line up in the league. Now theoretically a team like that can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series and I legitimately believe that.

Now on to the other one seed: Bucks. Let's stop doubting their playoff success. Giannis is averaging 30 ppg AND IS ONLY PLAYING LIKE 30 MINUTES A NIGHT IF THAT. His per 36 number IS BETTER THAN JAMES HARDENS. Essentially, if he played the same amount of minutes as James Harden at his current efficiency he would blow teams out of the water by himself. Not to mention if he continues this pace he will have the highest PER of all time. Giannis is a monster that should be feared.

So who is the MVP: Lebron or Giannis:

My vote is Giannis. For the obvious reasons of PER and etc. but more importantly: they are on pace to break 70 wins for the third time in history. It doesn't matter if the eastern conference is easier or not, this team is an all time great. The only real argument for Lebron is that he assists and participates in over 50 ppg. Yes this is crazy and yes without him LA is trash. But the Bucks are greatness and it's time to stop denying it.

That's your weekly report- till next time,

Adarsh

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
